Copyright schompyright? Got a Marvel design taken off this platform so let’s see how close we can get to the cultural comglomerate’s mascot we can get before we get shut down. What’s fair use and parody if not to critique and prod?
Recently, my PandaFrisian* design was taken down by a certain entertainment conglomerate to celebrate the series finale. It was a risk and I paid the copyright price. In a weird it’s a bit flattering. The design was close enough something they might put out, to be on their radar. I like to risk and experiment, so let’s see how close we can get before we’re shut down. Won’t you join me and order a tee or tote to stick to the the gatekeeper?
Meet Dilly Muss, the radioactive mascot of the infamous and sprawling entertainment company, Dalonde. During the Cold War, Dilly was incoportated into the news segments of the time to calm down children while their obsessed parents deal with the new daily paranoia. Maxwell Dalonde saw the glint of children’s eyes whenever Dilly came onscreen** and capitalized on the character’s popularity. Cartoon shorts, tee-shirts, lamps, pencils, movies! A media empire juggernaut.
*It rhymes with a show about a witch and her android husband.
